Hey, I’m Amy!

For as long as I can remember, I dreamt of becoming a teacher. And that’s exactly what I did for more than a decade. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, and a few additional endorsements to specialize in reading instruction and special education. I truly loved being a teacher! Helping students experience success was incredibly rewarding. (My absolute favorite part was teaching young children how to read!)

But over time, I realized that giving everything to my career as an educator was taking a huge toll on my own health and well-being. So, I re-evaluated how I can utilize my “teacher” skills and still help others, but in a new way that allows me to take care of myself, too. This new, empowered mindset led me to the field of virtual assistance.

I founded The Elevated Workflow with the vision of supporting business owners with the behind-the-scenes tasks that are necessary to keep a business running but may be too much for just one person or a small team to handle. From my teaching days to now being a businesswoman myself, I am committed to being proactive, collaborative, efficient, and thorough. Clear, consistent communication is a high priority as well.
